Railway JE 2024 Salary:
✔️ For Railway Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer specializing in Information Technology (JE(IT)), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA), the designation falls under Level 06 of the RSRP 7th CPC Pay Matrix. The initial salary stands at Rs. 35,400, coupled with additional allowances permitted during that period.

✔️ The relaxation in upper age limit / maximum upper age is 03 years for OBC-NCL, 05 years for SC/ST, Plus 10 years for PwBD and others as per Govt rules.
Educational Qualifications:
(1) 03 years Diploma or B.E. / B.Tech Engineering Graduate in relevant stream.
(2) For IT discipline: B.Sc. / BCA degree in Computer Science.
(3) Final year Graduates / Diploma students awaiting the results of the final examination for the prescribed educational/technical qualification are not eligible to apply for RRB JE 2024.

RRB JE Exam Syllabus 2024:
RRB JE CBT 1 Syllabus: The RRB JE CBT 1 Questions will be of objective type with multiple choice and are likely to include questions about:
(a) Mathematics: Number systems, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM and HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square Root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern.
(b) General Intelligence and Reasoning: Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision Making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc.
(c) General Awareness: Knowledge of Current affairs, Indian geography, culture and history of India including freedom struggle, Indian Polity and constitution, Indian Economy, Environmental issues concerning India and the World, Sports, General scientific and technological developments etc.
(d) General Science: Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences (up to 10th Standard CBSE syllabus).
RRB JE CBT 2 Syllabus: The RRB JE CBT 2 Questions will be in an objective format, featuring multiple-choice options. They are expected to cover topics such as General Awareness, Physics, Chemistry, Basics of Computers and Applications, Basics of Environment and Pollution Control, and Technical abilities relevant to the position. The syllabus for General Awareness, Physics, Chemistry, Basics of Computers and Applications, Basics of Environment and Pollution Control is uniform for all advertised positions under this CEN, as elaborated below:-
(a) General Awareness: Knowledge of Current affairs, Indian geography, culture and history of India including freedom struggle, Indian Polity and constitution, Indian Economy, Environmental issues concerning India and the World, Sports, General scientific and technological developments etc.
(b) Physics and Chemistry: Up to 10th standard CBSE syllabus.
(c) Basics of Computers and Applications: Architecture of Computers; input and Output devices; Storage devices, Networking, Operating Systems like Windows, Unix, and Linux; MS Office; Various data representation; Internet and Email; Websites & Web Browsers; Computer Virus.
(d) Basics of Environment and Pollution Control: Basics of Environment; Adverse effect of environmental pollution and control strategies; Air, water and Noise pollution, their effect and control; Waste Management, Global warming; Acid rain; Ozone depletion.
(e) Technical Abilities: Questions on the Technical abilities will be framed in the syllabus defined for various Exam Groups.

- Candidates must apply for Railway Junior Engineer 2024 (RRB JE 2024) online. The application form should be filled out and submitted via the official websites of the respective RRBs/RRCs on the specified opening date.
- The RRB Online Application Recruitment Portal – www.rrbapply.gov.in.
- Ensure your email ID and mobile number are verified through OTP.
- It is recommended that candidates keep their mobile number and valid e-mail ID active throughout the recruitment process, as all communications from RRBs/RRCs will be sent solely through SMS or email.
- During registration, choose the specific Railway for which you wish to apply. The selection made during the online application process is final, and requests for changes will not be entertained.
- Provide registration details, including your name, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name, Aadhaar number, SSLC/Matric registration number, year of passing, mobile number, and email ID. Submit the registration information. For candidates with ITI/NAC qualification, input the registration number/year of passing for ITI/NAC qualification instead of SSLC/Matric.
- Upload scanned copies of a recent photograph, signature, and proof of documents/certificates.
- Pay the application fee and submit your online application before the deadline.
- Only a single online application has to be submitted by the candidate.
