✅ CMRL Engineer Age Limit
(1) Not more than 28 years as of 09.06.2024.
(2) Age relaxation 03 years for OBC (NCL) and 05 years for SC/ST.
✅ CMRL Engineer Salary
(1) Selected candidates will be designated as Executive Trainees for one year with a stipend of ₹ 30,000 per month. CMRL will cover sponsorship and tuition fees for pursuing PGDMRTM at IIT Madras.
(2) Upon successful course completion, trainees will be posted as Assistant Managers on a 5-year contract with a consolidated pay of ₹ 62,000 per month. Candidates with a CGPA of 8.5 or higher will receive two advance increments; others will receive one.
✅ CMRL Engineer Eligibility Criteria
(1) First Class Engineering Graduates with a minimum aggregate of 70% marks (65% for SC/ST candidates) in Civil, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE/UGC are eligible to apply.
(2) Candidates must have a valid GATE score at the time of application.
(3) Final-year students who will obtain the eligible degree before the course commencement can also apply.

✅ How to Apply for CMRL Engineer Recruitment 2024
Eligible and interested candidates are required to apply only online on the CMRL Website – careers.chennaimetrorail.org. Registration on the following steps:-
Step 1: The Candidate must register in the CMRL Career portal (careers.chennaimetrorail.org) by using a valid email ID. The email ID registered in the portal will only be used for any further correspondence from CMRL.
Step 2: A registration link will be sent to the candidate’s registered email ID. Therefore, candidates are required to click the verify button to authenticate their email ID. Upon verifying, the user will be redirected to the CMRL career page to log in and apply.
Step 3: The Candidates must fill in all details in each section and make sure to upload the requisite documents (Recent Passport size Photograph, 10th std Certificate, Community Certificate, Qualification and Experience Certificate), wherever applicable, to authenticate the details mentioned in the application form.
