✅ RRB ALP Age Limit:
18 to 30 years as on 01/07/2025.
The Upper Age Relaxation – 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC NCL, for others as per Govt rules.
✅ Eligibility Criteria:
– Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in trades: Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio & TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature & Coil Winder, Mechanic (Diesel), Heat Engine, Turner, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Mechanic, OR
– Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the above trades, OR
– Matriculation/SSLC plus 3-year Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering (or combination), OR
– Degree in the above Engineering disciplines (instead of Diploma).
– Notes: Qualifications must be from recognised institutions; candidates awaiting final results are ineligible; certificates must be dated before 11/05/2025.
– Medical Standard: A-1 (physically fit, vision: 6/6 without glasses, normal colour/binocular vision, no LASIK surgery allowed).
– Nationality: Indian citizens, or citizens of Nepal/Bhutan, Tibetan refugees (pre-1962), or persons of Indian origin from specified countries.
✅ Selection Process:
The Railway ALP Recruitment Process shall comprise the following stages:-
✔️ Stages: CBT-1, CBT-2, Computer-Based Aptitude Test (CBAT), Document Verification (DV), Medical Examination (ME).
✔️ CBT-1: Shortlisting at 15 times the vacancies, RRB-wise, based on merit (normalised marks).
✔️ CBT-2: For shortlisted candidates; marks normalized.
✔️ CBAT: Qualifying (no negative marking).
✔️ Negative Marking: 1/3rd mark deducted per wrong answer in CBT-1 and CBT-2.
✔️ Documents for DV: Original certificates (education, caste/EWS, Ex-SM, etc.), photo, signature; upload scanned copies before DV.
✅ Application Fee:
✔️ ₹ 500/- for General / OBC Category Candidates.
✔️ ₹ 250 (Refundable) for SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minorities or EBC Candidates.

1. Create an account using a mobile number and email (no changes allowed post-creation).
2. Upload: Photo (35mm x 45mm, 50-150 KB, <2 months old), Signature (30-49 KB, black ink, running handwriting), SC/ST certificate (if applicable, <400 KB).
3. Select one RRB, indicate Railway Zone preferences, and submit.
4. Pay fee online; modifications allowed (except RRB/account details) from 14/05/2025 to 23/05/2025 (₹ 250 per modification).
