✅ Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Age Limit (as on 01/01/2025):
Not more than 37 years (age per Madhyamik certificate).
Age Relaxations: SC/ST (West Bengal): +5 years, OBC (West Bengal): +3 years, PwD (40% +): up to 45 years. SC/ST/OBC of other states treated as UR.
✔️ Educational Qualification:
Diploma in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from the State Council for Engineering & Technical Education or equivalent. Higher qualifications in Engineering are also eligible.
✅ Selection Process:
✔️ Written Test: 200 marks, 100 MCQs (2 marks each), 1.5 hours, negative marking (1 mark per wrong answer). Syllabus: Diploma-level Civil Engineering (AICTE-approved).
✔️ Personality Test: 40 marks, conducted in Kolkata for candidates (3:1 ratio) scoring minimum marks in the written test (UR: 45%, OBC/EWS: 40%, SC/ST/PwD: 35%).
✔️ Document verification (qualification, age, caste, PwD) required. Candidates must submit a ₹ 50/- bond for emergency duties within the KMC area during the Personality Test.
