The Assam APSC Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) pay scale is ₹ 30,000 to 1,10,000/- + Grade Pay ₹ 12,700/- (Pay Band – 4)
✅ APSC Assistant Engineer Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit:
✔️ Minimum 21 years and Maximum 38 years as of 1st January 2024.
✔️ The upper age limit is relaxable as 05 years for SC / ST (P) / ST (H), 03 years for OBC / MOBC and 10 years for PwBD.
Educational Qualifications:
(1) Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an Indian or Foreign University recognized by the Government. (OR) Passed Part A and B of the Associate Membership Examination of the Institution of Engineers (India) and possessing a certificate to that effect from the Institution of Engineers (India) only.
(2) Degrees obtained through Distance education will not be eligible.
(3) Apart from English, the candidate should have adequate Knowledge of at least 01 official languages of the state of Assam (i.e. Assamese / Bengali / Bodo) except candidates to Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council and Dima Hasao Autonomous Council.

✅ How to Apply for APSC Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2023-24:
➢ Applicants must apply online through the APSC’s recruitment website (apscrecruitment.in) starting December 19, 2023.
➢ Candidates should first visit the APSC’s recruitment website and register by clicking the ‘Register Here’ link, completing the One-Time Registration (OTR) process with essential details.
➢ A valid personal email ID and mobile number are required for candidates.
➢ After creating an account, applicants must log in using the provided credentials. Upon logging in, they should provide One-Time Registration details, including Personal Information, Educational Qualification, Work Experience, Photograph (Minimum size: 50 KB & Maximum size: 200 KB, not older than 3 months), Signature (Minimum size: 50 KB & Maximum size: 200 KB), and other necessary documents.
➢ Once these details are submitted, applicants can download the One-Time Registration details. Subsequently, they should click on the “Applicant Section => Apply Section” link for submitting the application form.
