• Specialization in Agricultural Chemicals, particularly in the use of herbicides with experience in Weed Science Research.

Principal Scientist (Agronomy), ICAR-Directorate of Weed Research (DWR), Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh):

Essential Qualification:

• Doctoral degree in Agronomy including relevant basic sciences.
• 10 years of experience in the relevant subject out of which at least 8 years should be as Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension specialist or in an equivalent position in the Pay Band-3 of Rs.15600-39100/- with Grade Pay of Rs.5400/ Rs.6000/ Rs.7000/ Rs.8000/ equivalent or more remuneration whichever is applicable and 2 years as Senior Scientist or in an equivalent position in the Pay Band-4 of Rs.37400-67000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.8700/ Rs.9000/ equivalent or more remuneration whichever is applicable.

Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board(ASRB) Recruitment 2023 Selection Process:

The candidates who are appointed under the ASRB Recruitment 2023 have to undergo certain stages under ASRB Recruitment 2023.
Written Exam:

• The candidates who successfully apply for ASRB Recruitment 2023 will have to appear in the ASRB Written Exam 2023.

Personal Interview:

• Candidates who are shortlisted in the written exam will undergo the next stage of the selection process Personal Interview. The final merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained in the written exam and interview.

• ASRB application fee of Rs. 1500/- (Rupees one thousand five hundred only) for each position should be deposited through Bharatkosh (bharatkosh.gov.in) while filling the online application form available on the website: http://www.asrb.org.in as well as the online application form available on the website: http://www.asrb.org.in only as per instructions given in Annexure-IV.
• Payment can be made through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/ UPI from any Bank. Transaction charges for Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/ UPI payment, as the case may be, have to be borne by the candidate.
• Mere payment of fees in Bharatkosh without successful submission of application form (till the last date and time for submission of online application form) will not be considered.
• Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/Divyang categories and women need not pay any fee.
