✅ BARC Scientific Assistant Age Limit
Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years. Candidates must have been born not earlier than 15/07/1994 and not later than 14/07/2006. Age relaxation as per Govt. rules.
✅ BARC Scientific Assistant Salary
The Pay level in Pay Matrix – 7, Entry Pay ₹ 44900/- per month.
✅ BARC Scientific Assistant Eligibility Criteria
(1) Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) in Zoology/ Biochemistry/ Microbiology with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university.
(2) Minimum 4 years of experience in human cytogenetics/molecular cytogenetics/cell culture techniques/molecular laboratory techniques and also familiar with biological research methods.
(3) Knowledge of Bio-Statistics is desirable.
✅ BARC Scientific Assistant Selection Process
Selection will be based on performance in a personal interview. If there are many applicants, BARC Research Centre may conduct a screening test to limit the number of interview candidates. The Centre’s decision is final. The screening test/interview will be held in Mumbai only.
