Bankers Institute of Rural Development (BIRD), Lucknow, invites applications from eligible Indian Citizens for the engagement of a Research Officer (RO) to fill up two vacancies in the Centre for Research on Financial Inclusion and Microfinance (CRFIM) on a purely contractual basis for two years, extendable by one year, further extendable by another year, subject to satisfactory performance. ✅ Age Limit:
The upper age limit is 45 years as of 31.03.2024.
✅ Monthly Salary:
₹ 1,00,000/- per month – Indicative Gross Emoluments (All Inclusive)
✅ Eligibility Criteria:
(1) Post-graduation degree from a recognized university / Research Institute.
(2) Desirable: Post-graduation degree in the field of economics/development studies/statistics/data- science.
(3) The candidate should have at least two years of hands-on experience in conducting research studies in the field of economics / micro-finance / development studies.
✅ Selection Process:
The BIRD Research Officer selection process will include a writing ability test, data analysis and visualization assessment, PowerPoint presentation and personal interview.

✅ Consolidated Salary: ₹ 50,000/- per month
✅ Educational Qualification and Experience:
✔️ Programme Officer – IT: Degree in Computers/ IT (B.Tech./ MCA). Must have more than 05 years of experience in IT (software/hardware) related work.
✔️ Programme Officer – Accounts: B.Com / CA (intermediate) candidate will get preference. Must have more than 05 years of experience in accountancy work, proficient in tally ERP 9.0.
✔️ Programme Officer – Administration: Graduate. MBA or any other additional qualification will be given preference. Must have more than 05 years of administration experience in a Training Institute or similar institutions.
✔️ Programme Officer – Procurement and Maintenance: Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering. Must have more than 03yearsof experience for degree holder & 05 years of experience for a diploma holder. Preference will be given to experience in purchase, procurement & maintenance work.
✔️ Programme Officer – Academics: Graduate. MBA or any other additional qualification will be given preference. Must have more than 05 years of administration experience in a Training Institute or similar institutions.
