✅ Age Limit: (As on 21/04/2025)

Junior Secretariat Assistant: 28 years
Junior Stenographer: 27 years
Age relaxation as per the Govt rules.

✅ Pay Scale:

Junior Secretariat Assistant: Pay Level-2, ₹ 19900 – 63200/-
Junior Stenographer: Pay Level-4, ₹ 25500 – 81100/-

✅ Eligibility Criteria:

Junior Secretariat Assistant:

(1) Minimum 10+2 / Matric + 12th Class Pass or its equivalent.
(2) Proficiency in Computer Typing Speed of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi.

Junior Stenographer:

(1) Minimum 10+2 / Matric + 12th Class Pass or its equivalent.
(2) Proficiency in Stenography as per prescribed norms fixed by DOPT from time to time (Dictation at the speed of 80 w.p.m for 10 minutes in English / Hindi).

✅ Selection Process:

✔️ Junior Secretariat Assistant: Written Test and Typing Test
✔️ Junior Stenographer: Written Test and Stenography Test

✅ Application Fee:

✔️ ₹ 500/- for General / OBC / EWS Category Candidates.
✔️ No fee for SC / ST / Pwbd / ESM / Women / CSIR Employees Category Candidates.
✔️ The fee in the form of a Demand Draft drawn on any nationalised bank and valid for at least 3 months in favour of “Director, CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat” payable at Jorhat.

➢ Eligible and Interested candidates are required to fill out and submit the online application form through the CRRI  Recruitment Portal. The candidates have to register themselves with valid email ID before applying and after registering themselves.
