Educational Qualifications:
Assistant Teacher for Lower Primary School:
(1) Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks.
(2) 02 years Diploma in Elementary Education.
(3) Assam TET or Central TET for Lower Primary.
(4) Non Essential: NCC Certificate, Sports & Cultural Achievements.
Assistant Teacher for Upper Primary School:
(1) Higher Secondary/ Senior Secondary (or its equivalent).
(2) Bachelor’s Degree.
(3) 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education OR Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education.
(4) Assam TET or Central TET for Upper Primary School.
(5) Non Essential: NCC Certificate, Sports & Cultural Achievements.
Other Eligibility:
✔️ The candidates who have passed the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) conducted by the Elementary Education Department, Assam, will be eligible to apply and candidates who will appear and pass Assam TET.
✔️ The Language-I of the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) of the candidate shall match the school’s medium of instruction, wherein the candidate wishes to apply.
✅ Assam Assistant Teacher Selection Process:
The Selection of the candidates shall be strictly in order of merit list, and marks will be allocated as follows:-
