Age Limit: 18 to 30 Years as of 01/01/2024. Upper age relaxation of 05 years for SC/ST candidates, 03 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for Physically Challenged Persons.
Pay Scale: Pay Level 2/3. Basic pay ₹ 19900 / 21700 (Equivalent to PB- 1 ₹ 5200-20200 with Grade Pay ₹ 1900 / 2000 as per 6th CPC)
Educational Qualifications:
| (1) Essential – Matric with 12th Pass with 50% marks and its equivalent or Higher Education. Possession of degree/ diploma/ certificate in the concerned discipline from a recognized Institute. |
| (2) Desirable – Experience in the field and performance given on AIR / Doordarshan, etc. Prizes won at the National Level. |
Examination Fee: ₹ 500/- for General and OBC Candidates; ₹ 250/- For candidates belonging to SC/ ST/Ex-servicemen/ Persons with 40% or above Disabilities (PWDs), Women, Minorities and Economic Backward Classes. The exam fee will be paid through an Indian Postal Order (IPO). The date of issue of the Indian Postal Order should not be off before the date of issue of this Employment Notice. The IPO should be pledged in favour of PFA, East Central Railway’ and payable at Hajipur.
Selection Process: Selection will be conducted through a written test and assessment of talent in the relevant field based on practical demonstration, testimonials/prizes, etc.

How To Apply East Central Railway Cultural Quota:
- Application in the prescribed format should be neatly typed in Hindi or English with one Passport-size photograph to be pasted [duly signed] on the application form, and two passport-size photographs duly signed at the back side should be clipped along the application form.
- Completed Application should be sent to GENERAL MANAGER (PERSONNEL), RECRUITMENT SECTION., EAST CENTRAL RAILWAY, HAJIPUR, DISTT.-VAISHALI (BIHAR) PIN-844101 to reach this office by ordinary post or to be dropped in the application box provided for the purpose in above mentioned office address up to 18.00 Hrs.
