- For Unarmed Police Sub Inspector: Candidates Should Possess Any Degree.
- For All Other Posts: Candidates Should Possess 12th Pass-Higher Secondary Exam

Physical Test Standards
- For Males: 5000 meters run, The race should be completed in a maximum of 25 minutes.
- For Females: 1600 meters run, The race should be completed in a maximum of 9 minutes 30 seconds.
- For Ex-Servicemen: 2400 meters run, The race should be completed in a maximum of 12 minutes 30 seconds.
