IAF Airmen Recruitment 2024 Notification Out, The IAF Airmen Recruitment Rally start from 3rd July 2024 to 12th July 2024: unmarried Male Indian Citizens and Nepalese (Gorkha) from States of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and UTs of J&K, Chandigarh & Ladakh to join the IAF as Airmen in the Group ‘Y’, Medical Assistant trade. The Recruitment Test will be held at Base Repair Depot, Air Force, Chandigarh. The IAF Airmen Group Y online registration at airmenselection.cdac. is from 22nd May 2024 to 5th June 2024.

✅ Age Limit:
✔️ For Group ‘Y’ / Medical Assistant: Candidates must be unmarried and born between January 2, 2004, and January 2, 2008 (inclusive of both dates).
✔️ For Group ‘Y’ / Medical Assistant (For candidates with a Diploma / B.Sc. in Pharmacy): Unmarried candidates should be born between January 2, 2001, and January 2, 2006 (inclusive of both dates). Married candidates should be born between January 2, 2001, and January 2, 2004 (including both dates).
✅ Stipend:
✔️ During training, a stipend of ₹ 14,600/-per month shall be paid.
✔️ Group ‘Y’ [Except IAF(S) and Musician Trades]: ₹ 26,900/-per month plus Dearness allowance (as applicable) which, in subsequent years, may rise as per the career progression of the individual.
✅ Educational Qualifications:
✔️ Group ‘Y’ Medical Assistant:
(a) Candidates must have completed their 10+2 / Intermediate / Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. Alternatively, they should have passed a two-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects, i.e., Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, from Education Boards recognized by Central, State, and UT with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English.
(b) candidates with a Diploma / B.Sc. in Pharmacy must have passed their Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, scoring at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. Additionally, possessing a Diploma / B.Sc. in Pharmacy with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and valid registration from the State Pharmacy Council or Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) at enrollment is a mandatory requirement.
✔️ Group ‘X’ (Except Education Instructor Trade): Passed Intermediate/10+2/ Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from an Educational Board listed as a COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. (OR) Passed Three years of Diploma Courses in Engineering in any stream. The candidate should have completed the course from a Government Polytechnic institute listed as a COBSE member with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma, or Intermediate/ Matriculation if English is not a subject in the Diploma Course.
✔️ Group ‘Y’ {Except Medical Assistant and Musician) Trades: Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subjects approved by Central / State Education Boards listed as COBSE member with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. (OR) Passed two-year vocational course from Educational Boards listed as COBSE members with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course or Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course.
✅ Selection Process: The Indian Air Force Airmen were selected based on the following activities. The recruitment test shall be conducted at all the districts of the States of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and UTs of J&K, Chandigarh & Ladakh.

✅ Medical Standards:
(a) Height: The minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cm.
(b) Chest: The chest should be well proportioned and well developed with a minimum range of expansion of 5 cm.
(c) Weight: It should be proportionate to height and age as applicable for IAF.
(d) Hearing: Candidates should have normal hearing, meaning they should be able to hear forced whispers from a distance of 6 meters by each ear separately.
(e) Dental: Candidates should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth, and a minimum of 14 dental points.
(f) Visual Standards: The vision requirements include Visual Acuity (6/36 in each eye, correctable to 6/9 in each eye), Maximum limits of Refractive Error (Not exceeding +3.50D including Astigmatism), and Colour Vision (CP-III).
