IAF Group C Civilian Recruitment Notification of 182 Positions Opening in 2024-25: The Indian Air Force (IAF) invites applications from eligible Indian Citizens for recruitment of Group ‘C’s civilian posts such as Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Hindi Typist, Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver positions at the various Air Force Stations/ Units. The last date for receipt of the Application Form is 30 days from the date of publication of this advertisement in the Employment News Paper dated 3rd August 2024 Issue.

✅ IAF Group C Age Limit:
✔️ For all posts 18 – 25 years as on the last date of receipt of application.
✔️ Age Relaxation – 03 years for OBC, 05 years for SC / ST, 10 years for PwBD.
✅ IAF Group C Pay Scale: (As per 7th CPC)
✔️ Level-2 for LDC, Hindi Typist and Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver posts.
✅ IAF Group C Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ LDC / Hindi Typist:
(1) Matriculation with 12th Class pass from a recognized Board.
(2) Skill test norms on computer English typing @ 35 words per minute, or Hindi typing @ 30 words per minute (35 words per minute and 30 words per minute correspond to 10500 Key Depressions per hour
or 9000 Key Depressions per hour on an average of 5 Key Depressions for each word.
✔️ Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver:
(1) Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized board.
(2) Must be holding a valid Civil Driving Licence for light and heavy vehicles.
(3) Must possess professional skill in driving and knowledge of motor mechanisms.
(4) Minimum two years experience in driving motor vehicles.

✅ How to Apply for IAF Group C Recruitment?
Eligible candidates can apply to any of the Air Force Station of their choice subject to the vacancies and qualifications. Application as per the prescribed format (typed in English/ Hindi), duly supported with the following documents is to reach the concerned Air Force Station through ordinary post.
(a) All documents in support of Education Qualification, Age, Technical Qualification, physical handicaps, Experience Certificate & Caste Certificate (issued by the competent civil authorities in case of SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS/ PwBD/ ESM candidates) etc to be accompanied with the application should be self-attested.
(b) In case of appointment of OBC candidates against their reserved quota their caste should be listed under the Central List of OBCs as candidates belonging to castes listed under the Central list only are eligible for appointment to Central Services. The latest rules about creamy layers in OBCs are to be followed. Candidates seeking reservation as OBC are required to submit along with the application a certificate to the effect that he/she does not belong to any of the creamy layers.
(c) In the case of the ex-serviceman self attested photocopy of the discharge book is to be submitted along with the application.
(d) Application form duly typed in English /Hindi with recent photograph (passport size) self-attested. Any other supporting document (self-attested), Self-addressed envelope with stamp (s) Rs. 10/- pasted. The address should be typed in English / Hindi. Separate applications for each post should be forwarded. Applicants are to mention clearly on the envelope “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _______ AND CATEGORY _______ ”.
(e) Two passport-size photographs (same as fixed on the application form).
