Age Limit
- Candidate born between 03-07-2004 and 03-01-2008 (both dates inclusive).
- In case, a candidate clears all the stages of the Selection Procedure, then the upper age limit as of date of enrollment should be 21 years.

Qualification
- Candidates Should Possess a 10+2, Diploma (Relevant Engg).

Physical Standards
- Height: For Male Candidates, height is 152.5 cm; For female Candidates 152 cm for candidates belonging to North East or hilly regions of Uttarakhand, a lower minimum height of 147 cm will be accepted. In the case of candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum height will be 150 cm
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
- Chest: For Male Candidates Minimum chest: is 77 cm and the chest expansion should be at least 05 cm, For Female Candidates: the chest wall should be well proportioned and well developed with a minimum range of expansion of 05 cm
- Hearing: Should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 06 meters by each ear separately
- Dental: Should have healthy gums, a good set of teeth and a minimum of 14 dental points.

- Visual Acuity: 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6 each eye
- Maximum limits of Refractive error: Hypermetropia:+2.0D Myopia: 1D including ± 0.50 D Astigmatism
