Indian Navy Fireman Recruitment 2024 Upcoming Vacancies: The Indian Navy is set to announce the upcoming recruitment for Civilian Personnel in November – December 2024. The positions include Fire Engine Driver and Fireman, classified under General Central Service Group ‘C’, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial, and Non-Industrial roles. These positions will be filled through absorption from individuals currently serving in similar, equivalent, or higher grades within the lower formations of the defence services.

Fire Engine Driver:
(1) Must have passed Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board.
(2) Must have at least 03 years experience of driving heavy vehicles and possess a valid driving license.
(3) Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the test.
Fireman:
(1) Must have passed Matriculation or its equivalent.
(2) Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the specified test.
