India Post GDS Online 2024 for 44228 Posts, Apply Online @ indiapostgdsonline.gov.in: The Government of India, Ministry of Communications, Department of Posts conducts the GDS Online Engagement in July 2024 for the selection of a total of 44,228 vacancies in different local post offices across various state-wise India Postal Circles, all over India.
The India Post GDS 2024 Online Registration started on 15th July 2024. Eligible Indian citizens who have passed a minimum of 10th standard (Matriculation) with a local language are eligible to apply for Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) Online Engagement through the India Post GDS Official Online Portal, either at indiapostgdsonline.cept.gov.in or indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. The last date for registration of online applications is 5th August 2024.

✅ India Post GDS Online 2024 Eligibility Criteria
✔️ A Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics and English, conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India, State Governments, or Union Territories in India.
✔️ The applicant should have studied the local language at least up to the 10th standard from a recognized board.
✔️ Additional Qualifications: Knowledge of computers, ability to ride a bicycle, and adequate means of livelihood.
✅ India Post GDS Online 2024 Selection Process
✔️ The India Post GDS Online Engagement 2024 selection is purely based on a Computer System Generated Merit List.
✔️ The Merit list will be prepared based on marks obtained/ conversion of Grades/ Points to marks in 10th Class (Matriculation / Secondary School Certificate).
✔️ No weightage will be given for higher educational qualifications.
✅ How to Apply India Post GDS Apply Online 2024?
Eligible Indian Citizens apply online for India Post GDS 2024 online registration at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. The GDS Registration on the following steps:-
Stage 1: Registration – Candidates should fill in their basic details, including mobile number (OTP validation required), email ID (OTP validation required), address, father’s/mother’s name, date of birth, gender, community, and secondary school (10th class) pass year/marks, and circle details. After registration, candidates will receive a unique registration number.
Stage 2: Apply Online – Visit the Indiapostgdsonline.gov.in/ref_validation.aspx page, enter your registration number, and choose your postal circle (state). Then, choose your GDS vacancy post office preference and print the submitted application.
Stage 3: Fee Payment – The final step is to pay the application fee of ₹100/-, which applies to all posts notified in the choice of division. This fee is exempted for all female applicants, SC/ST applicants, PwD applicants, and transwomen applicants. The fee should be paid through online payment mode using credit/debit cards, net banking, or UPI.
