The National Horticulture Board has released an advertisement notification for the positions of Senior Horticulture Officer (Group B) and Deputy Director (Group A) in the National Horticulture Board (NHB), an Autonomous Organization under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India. The NHB is inviting online applications from eligible Indian citizens for the selection of 19 Deputy Directors and 25 Senior Horticulture Officer posts. Educational Qualifications:
✔️ Senior Horticulture Officer: A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Food Technology, Post-harvest Technology, Agriculture Economics, Agriculture Engineering, or Food Sciences from a recognized university is required, with a preference for a Master’s Degree in the same field.
✔️ Deputy Director: To be eligible for the position of Deputy Director, candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Post-harvest Technology, Agriculture Economics, Agriculture Engineering, Post-harvest Management, Food Technology, or Food Science from a recognized university. Additionally, applicants should have at least 5 years of work experience in a related field within an organization of repute.
