NLC Apprentice Recruitment 2024 Notification for 632 Posts: NLC India Limited (NLCIL) Chennai invites online applications from Fresher Graduates and diploma holders passed during 2019/2020/2021/2022 & 2023 for one-year Apprenticeship Training under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act, 1973 in various subjects/fields. The NLC Apprentice 2024 Online Registration Form should be filled out through NLC India’s official website, nlcindia.in, from 18th January 2024. ✅ NLC Apprentice Salary / Stipend:
✔️ Graduate Apprentices: ₹ 15028/- per month
✔️ Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: ₹ 12524/- per month
✅ NLC Apprentice Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ Age Limit: Minimum 14 years, As per Apprentice Act 1961, Maximum age 18 years.
✔️ Residents: Only Tamil Nadu State and Puducherry state candidates are eligible to apply.
✔️ Educational Qualifications:
Graduate Apprentices:
- Possession of a Degree in Engineering or Technology (Full-time) from a Statutory University in the relevant discipline.
- Attainment of a Degree in Engineering or Technology (Full-time) from an Institution authorized to confer such a degree by an Act of Parliament in the relevant discipline.
- I am completing the graduate examination conducted by Professional bodies (Full-time) recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to the abovementioned qualifications.
- For Pharmacy: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
- I hold a Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Full-time) from a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in the relevant discipline.
- I am earning a Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Full-time) from a University in the relevant discipline.
- I am acquiring a Diploma in Engineering and Technology (Full-time) from an Institution acknowledged by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to the abovementioned qualifications.
Other Eligibility:
- Eligible candidates must have completed the qualifying exam in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
- Candidates must not have attained a postgraduate qualification.
- Candidates should not have participated in or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training in NLCIL or any other organization.
- Candidates must not possess one year or more of experience in any job.
- Candidates should be residents of Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Karnataka, and the Union territories of Pondicherry and Lakshadweep.
✅ NLC Apprentice Selection Process:
- The NCL Apprenticeship 2024 selection process will be determined by the percentage of marks candidates achieve in their respective qualifying Diploma/ Degree programs.

Eligible candidates are required to apply online through the official NLC India website (nlcindia.in). Navigate to the CAREERS page by clicking the corresponding link and selecting the Trainees & Apprentices tab. Next, click the appropriate Online Application link under Advt., No. L&DC 04/2023.
The online registration period is from January 18, 2024, to January 31, 2024, until 5:00 PM. After completing the application form, it is essential to take a printout of the registration form. Duly signed registration forms should be submitted either by post to:
