Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Northern Railway, New Delhi, invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for direct recruitment by selection in Level 2 of Pay Matrix 7th CPC against the Cultural Quota for the year 2024. The online registration for Northern Railway Cultural Quota 2024 will open from 31 January 2024 and close on 29 February 2024.

Age Limit: 18 to 30 Years as of 1st July 2019. The Upper Age Limit is relaxable for 05 Years in the case of SC / ST Candidates and 03 Years in the case of OBC Candidates. Serving Railway Employees on Completion of 03 Years of regular Railway Service are eligible for up to 40 Years for UR, 45 for SC / ST and 43 for OBC.
Pay Scale: Level 2 of Pay Matrix 7th CPC.
Essential Qualification:
(1) 12th (Matric +2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks are not to be insisted upon for SC/ST/Ex-SM candidates and candidates with qualifications higher than 12th (+2 stages).
(2) Typing proficiency in English/Hindi on computer is essential.
(3) (i) For Drama Artist – Candidate should possess a Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Drama from Govt. a recognized institute. (ii) For Classical Singer (Male/ Female) – Candidate Should Possess a Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate in Hindustani Vocal Music from Govt. a recognized institute.
Desirable Qualification:
(1) Experience in the field and performance on AIR / Doordarshan, etc.
(2) Prizes won at the National Level.
Exam Fee: ₹ 250/- for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex. Servicemen/ Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes. ₹ 500/- for all other candidates. The examination fee is to be paid only through Online Mode.
Place of Posting: Selected candidates will be posted over Northern Railway.
Selection Process: Written Test (Objective Type), Assistant of Talent in the relevant field, and Medical Examination.

How to Apply Northern Railway Cultural Quota 2024:
Eligible Candidates must complete the online application through the Northern Railway RRC website (rcnr.org) starting 31st January 2024. The candidates should fill in all required details and upload photocopies of necessary documents/certificates (Date of Birth, Essential Educational & Cultural Qualification, Community Certificate). The closing date for online registration is 29/02/2024 up to noon.
Important Dates for Northern Railway Cultural Quota 2024:
Opening date of online registration/application filling: 31/01/2024 at noon.
The closing date for online registration/filling out of the application is 29/02/2024 at noon.
The Online Written Examination and Assessment of Talent is expected to be 09/03/2024.
