Northern Railway Employment Notice No. RRC/NR05/2024/CQ: Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Northern Railway, New Delhi, invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for direct recruitment by selection in Level 2 of Pay Matrix 7th CPC against the Cultural Quota for the year 2024-25. The online registration for Northern Railway Cultural Quota 2024 through culture.rrcnr.org will be open from 16th August 2024 and will close on 16th September 2024.

Age Limit: 18 to 30 Years as of 01.01.2025. The Upper Age Limit is relaxable for 05 Years in case of SC / ST Candidates and 03 Years in case of OBC Candidates, Serving Railway Employees on Completion of 03 Years of regular Railway Service are eligible for up to 40 Years for UR, 45 Years of age for SC / ST and 43 Years of age of OBC.
Pay Scale: Level 2 of Pay Matrix 7th CPC.
Essential Qualification:
(1) 12th (Matric +2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks are not to be insisted upon in the case of SC/ST/Ex-SM candidates and candidates who possess qualifications higher than 12th (+2 stages).
(2) Typing proficiency in English/Hindi on computer is essential.
(3) (i) For Table Player – Degree / Diploma certificate in the field of Tabla. (ii) FOr String Instruments Player – Degree / Diploma certificate in the field of String Instruments.
Desirable Qualification:
(1) Experience in the field and performance on AIR / Doordarshan etc.
(2) Prizes won at the National Level.
Exam Fee: ₹ 250/- for candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ Ex. Servicemen/ Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes. ₹ 500/- for all other candidates. The examination fee is to be paid through Online Mode Only.
Place of Posting: Selected candidates will be posted over Northern Railway.
Selection Process: Written Test (Objective Type) and Assistant of Talent in the relevant field and Medical Examination.

How to Apply Northern Railway Cultural Quota 2024:
Eligible Candidates have to fill up the online application through the Northern Railway RRC website (culture.rrcnr.org) from 16th August 2024.
The candidates should fill in all required details and upload photocopies of required documents/certificates (Date of Birth, Essential Educational & Cultural Qualification, Community Certificate).
The closing date for online registration is 16/09/2024 up to midnight.
