The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) Regional Office in Bhopal has issued a notification for the empanelment of Teachers (PGTs and TGTs) on a contractual basis in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) of the Bhopal Region for the Session 2024-25.
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, a residential co-educational school system under the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, Ministry of Education, Government of India, is inviting applications from eligible candidates for empanelment and engagement of PGTs/TGTs purely on a contract basis for the academic session 2024-25 in JNVs located in the States of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, & Odisha. Applications must be submitted online on or before 26th April 2024.

✅ NVS Teacher Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit:
✔️ The upper age limit for all categories of teachers is 50 years as of July 1, 2024, for the year of engagement.
✔️ For ex-NVS teachers, the maximum age limit will be 65 years as of July 1, 2024.
Educational Qualifications:
✔️ Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs):
(1) 02-year Integrated Post Graduate Course from the Regional College of Education of NCERT or any other NCTE recognized University/institute, in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. (OR)
(2) Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects:- English, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Economics, History, Geography, Commerce and Biology.
✔️ Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs):
(1) 04 years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT or other NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate. (OR)
(2) Bachelor’s Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in all the concerned subjects individually and also in aggregate. Candidate should have studied requisite subjects for at least 2 years in the 03-year degree course. (OR)
(3) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects and also in aggregate. The candidate should have studied the requisite subjects in all three years of degree course.
(4) Subjects: Maths, Science, Social Sciences, English, Hindi, Assamese, Bodo, Garo, Gujarati, Kannada, Khasi. Malayalam, Marathi, Mizo, Nepali, Odiya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
