The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has released the ALP Notification for 18799 Increased Posts in the year 2024. The Official Notification was released in the Employment News Paper dated 20th January 2024 Issue. This year, there are 5696 vacancies to be filled in the post of Assistant Loco Pilot in all Zonal RRB Boards. The last date for registration of online applications is 19th February 2024 (Monday) up to 23:59 Hours.

The RRB notified vacancies for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) post under CEN 01/2024 have been increased. The revised vacancies, detailed community-wise and category-wise for all participating RRBs, are available in the Corrigendum Notice. All other terms and conditions of CEN 01/2024 remain unchanged. The Candidates can modify their choice of RRB and preference of Zonal Railway within the opted RRB. The modification link will be active for 10 days on the official RRB websites. How to Apply for Railway ALP Recruitment 2024?
Eligible and interested Indian citizens should apply online exclusively through www.recruitmentrrb.in, the official Railway ALP Online Portal for all RRBs. Visit the RRB ALP Apply Online Portal ↪ Click “Apply” ↪ then Click “Create an Account”. Read the instructions carefully before applying for the ALP recruitment. Confirm that you have downloaded the Detailed CEN No 01/2024, read and understood all the instructions, and click the “Proceed” button to start your registration. The registration process involves the following steps:-
Step I: On the Create an Account page, candidates need to enter personal information (full name, gender, date of birth, father’s name, mother’s name), complete Aadhaar card verification (with OTP), provide contact details (email address with OTP verification, mobile number with OTP verification), and create a password to establish the account.
Step II: Log in to apply and upload scanned documents, including a recent, clear, colour passport-size photograph (JPEG format), a scanned JPEG image of the candidate’s signature, and the SC/ST certificate (PDF format).
Step III: After completing Steps I and II, candidates must pay the examination fee (Rs. 500/- for General/OBC and Rs. 250/- for Reserved Category) through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, or UPI services, along with processing charges and applicable GST.
Upon successful payment, the confirmation page of the ALP online application form will be generated. The registration number printed on the computer-generated confirmation page must be referenced in all subsequent correspondence. Candidates are advised to carefully note down the registration number. A confirmation SMS and email will be sent to candidates after the successful acceptance of the application.
