SBI Clerk Salary:
The pay scale for SBI Clerk 2024 is as follows: ₹17900-1000/3-20900-1230/3-24590-1490/4-30550-1730/7-42600-3270/1-45930-1990/1-47920. The initial Basic Pay stands at ₹19900/-, comprising ₹17900/- along with two advance increments applicable to graduates.
For a Clerical Cadre employee stationed in a metropolitan area like Mumbai, the total starting emoluments amount to approximately ₹37,000/- per month. This includes Dearness Allowance (D.A.), other allowances at the current rate, and two additional increments granted to newly recruited graduate junior associates. It’s important to note that allowances may vary based on the place of posting.
SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit:
Candidates should be at least 20 years old and not more than 28 years old. The Upper age relaxation is applicable: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and an additional 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD).
Educational Qualifications:
For State Bank of India Junior Associate / Clerk Minimum Educational Qualification as:-
A degree in any discipline from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification acknowledged by the Central Government is required.
Candidates with an integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate must verify that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.12.2024.
Individuals in the final year/semester of their graduation can also apply provisionally, under the condition that if provisionally selected, they must provide evidence of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2024.
SBI Clerk Exam Date 2024:
➢ The SBI Clerk 2024 Preliminary Exam is expected to be held in January / February 2024.
➢ For the Preliminary Exam, candidates are required to download their call letter and an “acquaint yourself booklet” by entering their registration number and password/date of birth from the Bank’s website.
➢ Candidates who qualify for the Main Exam will be able to download their call letter from the Bank’s website.
✅ SBI Clerk Exam Pattern:
The SBI Clerk 2024 selection process will consist of an Online test (Preliminary Exam & Main exam) and a test of a specified opted local language.
SBI Clerk Preliminary Exam: An online Preliminary Exam will be conducted, comprising Objective Tests with a total of 100 marks (Duration – 01 Hour). This test is scheduled for 1 hour and consists of three sections, outlined as follows:
