Southern Railway Scouts and Guides Quota Recruitment 2024 for 17 Vacancies in RRC Southern Railway and ICF under Employment Notice No. RRC-03/S&G/2023-24: Southern Railway, Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), has released a recruitment notification for Scouts and Guides Quota (Level 1 and Level 2) for 2023-2024. Eligible Indian nationals can apply online through the RRC Southern Railway official website, rrcmas, on or before the closing date of 20th February 2024.

Southern Railway Scouts and Guides Quota Age Limit:
✔️ Level 2: 18 to 30 years for UR, 18 to 33 years for OBC, 18 to 35 years for SC / ST
✔️ Level 2: 18 to 33 years for UR, 18 to 36 years for OBC, 18 to 38 years for SC / ST
Southern Railway Scouts and Guides Quota Salary:
✔️ Level 1 and Level 2 Pay Scales.
Southern Railway Scouts and Guides Quota Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ A President’s Scout / Guide / Rover / Ranger (OR) Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) Holder in any section
✔️ Should have been an active member of a Scouts organization for the last 5 years.
✔️ Should have been an active event at the National Level or All India Railway’s level and Two vents at the State level.
Southern Railway Scouts and Guides Quota Qualification / Eligibility Criteria:
✔️ For Level 2 (Non-Technical Popular Categories): Minimum 10+2 (12th Class) pass or its equivalent examination with not less than 55% marks in the aggregate.
✔️ For Level 2 (Technician Categories): Act Apprenticeship / ITI.
✔️ For Level 1 Posts: 10th Pass, ITI, equivalent, or National Apprenticeship.
Southern Railway Scouts and Guides Quota Selection Process:
The candidates who apply in response to Southern Railway Notification and are found eligible for consideration for appointment will be assessed on the following selection basis:-

Southern Railway Scouts and Guides Quota Application Fee:
✔️ ₹ 500/- for General / OBC category candidates.
✔️ ₹ 250/- for SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / PWDs / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically Backward Class.
✔️ The fee should be payable in either a Demand Draft (DD) / Indian Postal Order (IPO), drawn in favour of Chairman / RRC / Chennai, or payable at Chennai.
How to Apply Southern Railway Scouts and Guides Quota 2024:
Eligible candidates are required to apply online through the RRC Southern Railway Chennai Website starting 20th January 2024. The candidates should upload an attested copy of the Educational Qualification Mark Sheet / Certificate, Date of Birth of Certificate, Caste Certificate, etc.
The candidates must also upload their colour Photo-gram and a Soft Copy of their Signature. The closing date for registration of online applications is 20/02/2024 up to 23:59 Hours.
