✅ West Bengal Police Constable Age Limit: (As of 01/01/2024)
✔️ Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years as of 01/01/2024.
✔️ The upper age limit shall be relaxable by 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC, Transgender and 05 years for Civil Volunteers/ Village Police Volunteers.

(1) Candidates must have passed the Madhyamik Examination (Matriculation or 10th class equivalent) from the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or equivalent.
(2) The applicant must be able to speak, read and write the Bengali language, provided that the provision will not apply to the persons who are permanent residents of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts. For the applicants of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts, the provisions laid down in the West Bengal Official Language Act, 1961 shall be applicable.
